Checking Account Rate Terms and Conditions
To qualify for the Plus 4 Reward Checking’s premium interest rate, all that’s required is:
- 10 signature based debit card purchases
- Set up one direct deposit or authorize one automatic payment from your account
- Enroll and receive electronic statements (valid email address is required)
- Access online banking at least once a month
Customers who don’t meet the minimums in one month have no need to worry — they’ll still earn a standard 0.01% APY like a regular checking account. The credit union’s Reward Checking also allows for free nationwide ATM access, and customers will be refunded fees charged by other ATMs, up to $25. There’s no minimum balance to open the account.
