Bank of Agriculture and Commerce is offering a competitive 3.00% APY reward checking account called Ultimate Checking. Here are the account’s rates and features rewarded for meeting its monthly requirements:


  • 3.09% APY on balances up to $25,000
  • Regular interest checking rate on portion of balance over $25,000
  • Regular interest checking rate on entire balance if requirements are not met
  • ATM fee refunds up to $2 per transaction

The monthly requirements for the account include:

  • 10 debit card purchases
  • 1 direct deposit
  • 1 online bill pay
  • Sign on to Internet banking
  • Sign up for and receive e-statements

Some additional features of the account include:

  • Your first order of 60 checks is free
  • There is no minimum balance requirement
  • There are no monthly service charges

To open the account, you are required to make a $100 opening deposit. While the bank has an online application, only those living in San Joaquin, Stanislaus and Contra Costa counties in California can apply.
