5.00% APY Reward Checking Account – Bank of Edwardsville

Eastern Illinois residents can take advantage of 5.00% APY on balances up to $25,000 with TheCLUB Checking Account from Bank of Edwardsville. In order to take advantage of this special rate, account holders must meet the following requirements each month:

  • 12 debit card purchases
  • 1 online bill pay
  • Receive online statements
  • Maintain a combined balance of $2,500 in TheCLUB checking as well as any other savings accounts

If requirements are met, you will be eligible for the special rate, as well as refunds on up to five foreign ATM fees nationwide. If the requirements aren’t met, your APY will drop to the 0.50% APY base rate and a $10 service charge will be processed.

Some additional features of TheCLUB Checking account include the $50 initial deposit and no minimum balance requirement (if your savings account is greater than $2,500 or you have an outstanding loan balance of $10,000 or more).

To open an account with Bank of Edwardsville, you must visit a branch location. Branches are located in the Illinois cities of Edwardsville, Belleville, Swansea and O’Fallon.
