Bank of Beaver City, located in Oklahoma and Kansas, is offering consumers a great checking account with great checking account rates to locals only. The highest available checking account rate is 4.01% APY for balances up to $25,000. Checking account balances over $25,000 will be able to earn 1.01% APY. However, both of these rates requires that the reward checking account holder meet certain requirements – otherwise, a base rate of 0.25% APY will be applied to all checking balances.
Monthly requirement for the higher checking account rates are:
- 10 debit card purchases
- Either 1 direct deposit or 1 automatic payment
- Must receive e-statements
To open the account consumers only need to deposit an initial amount of $100. This account does not require a minimum balance aside from the initial deposit, and there are no monthly charges.
