History of Crane Federal Credit Union

The history of Crane Federal Credit Union dates back to 1955. At that time the a document outlining the conditions under which the credit union was going to be organized and operate was drawn, and since then the company has worked diligently to follow their mission, “Cooperatively promote member thrift by providing practical financial services and benefits which equitably enhance the financial growth of our membership.”



Crane Federal Credit Union is in southern Indian. The financial institution features branches in serving Martin, Daviess, Greene, Monroe, Lawrence, Vigo, and Hendricks counties. A nine member Board of Directors (member elected) manages the financial institution for the greater good of all of their members. Crane Federal Credit Union is a non-profit financial and tax exempt.

Since Crane Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1955, the company has been on it’s correct path and has a strong history of positive growth. The organization features insured deposits, loans of many varieties and traditional banking features within Indiana.
