Bank of America has an introductory money market account rate of 1.50% APY with deposit rates of $10,000 – $250,000. You will need to open a BofA personal checking account in order to qualify. Here are some other important details for you to consider:

  • The introductory MMA will convert to their Growth Money Market Savings account later on
  • Balances below $10,000 will earn 1.00% APY
  • This offer may not be valid in all states and is unlisted on their website, so make sure you call
  • Monthly fees will not apply for deposit balances of $5,000 or greater
  • There may be a hard credit pull on your first checking account
  • Outgoing ACH transfer fees may apply
