First East Side Savings Bank’s Money Market Rate Drops Even Lower

Recently, we reported that First East Side Savings Bank had lowered its top money market rate from 2.25% to 2.00%. Well, we just found that the rate has dropped even lower. The new rate for the top tier is 1.85% APY.


Here is a list of all of the tiers for the account:

  • 1.85% APY on $100,000.00 or more
  • 1.25% APY on $25,000.00 to $99,999.99
  • 0.50% APY on $10,000.00 to $24,999.99
  • 0.25% APY on $2,500.00 – $9,999.99
  • 0.00% APY on $0.00 to $2,499.99

The account comes with free online banking, free Gold-Phone access and free e-Statements.

Opening the account requires a $2,500 minimum deposit. The account rates are compounded monthly. Rates are subject to change without notice.
