Money Market Rates Drop at State Farm Bank

State Farm Bank is giving future and current customers reasonable money market rates; however, they have lowered some since our last report:


  • $0 to $99 – 0.00% APY
  • $100 to $9,999 – 1.01% APY
  • $10,000 to $24,999 – 1.16% APY
  • $25,000 to $49,999 – 1.26% APY
  • $50,000 to $99,999 – 1.35% APY
  • $100,000 and over – 1.55% APY

Other features of the account remain the same:

  • Six transfers permitted each month
  • 24-hour account access
  • Use as overdraft protection for checking or high-yield checking account
  • Blue Specialty checks are free

To open the account a minimum of $1,000 is required; and a minimum balance of $100 is required to earn interest, which is compounded daily and credited to accounts monthly.
