Top Money Market Rates

Posted in Banking , Money Market

We all work hard for our money, and we all want to see it grow as much as we possibly can. More money means more options, more freedom, and above all, more security. To that end, many people invest in the global money market in order to reap substantial rewards, in the form of dividends. If you’re a parent, you’ll want to start putting money aside for your children’s college education (the average American tuition has grown at twice the rate of inflation – ouch!). If you’re a traveler, you’ll want to put money aside to fund future adventures. And if you’re just about anyone you’ll want to invest in different ways in order to have a safe, secure old age.

When it comes to investing in the world’s money markets, everyone is looking for one thing and one thing only: the best, highest rates possible. Top money market rates are offered by the banks and other financial institutions. As a rule of thumb, you will get top money market rates when you invest more money into an account, and do it for a longer period of time. So, $10,000 invested into a money market account or fund, with a maturity date of one year, will get a higher rate than $5,000 for six months.

Finding the top money market rates takes a lot of time, effort, and research. That’s why most people have their financial advisors take care of that type of thing – after all, we’re too busy earning that money to do it ourselves, right? So, when you sit down with your financial advisor to go over your options, be sure to tell him or her that you want the top money market rates. Be sure to ask him or her as many questions as you need in order to feel comfortable with what you’re doing, and to feel confident you’re getting the top money market rates that you truly deserve.
