Independence Credit Union

A CD rate almost always beats a savings account interest rate, which is why you should consider opening one. You don’t even have to commit to a lengthy investment period–a 6 month CD account is all it takes to earn an interest rate of 1.00% APY from Independence Credit Union.

Only members can earn the advertised CD account rate. Early withdrawal is subject to a 90 day dividend penalty and rates are subject to change without notice.

Independence Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1963 by the Independence Postal Workers. The goal of the credit union was to serve any federal employee that worked in Independence, Missouri, where the credit union is located. Membership has since been extended to include many more people. Once you become a member of Independence Credit Union, you’re a member for life, even if you retire. All that is required to maintain membership is a balance of $25 or higher in your share savings account.

Other Terms and Conditions may apply. Additionally, rates may have changed since this offer was posted. Please contact the financial institution for the most recent rate updates and to review the terms of the offer.
