Virginia, Florida, Rhode Island and Texas residents can take advantage of a special 2.00% APY 5-month CD from Chartway Federal Credit Union. This is a limited-time offer and is only available with the Preferred Plus, Elite 50 Plus, or Premier Checking Account.
The credit union is also offering a special 1.75% APY on its 7-month CD. The 5-month CD requires a minimum balance of $5,000 to maintain APY, while the 7-month CD requires $15,000. Both require $5,000 minimum deposit to open. There is a penalty for early withdrawal on both accounts.
