Officials in the state of California have decided to help struggling homeowners in the area to learn more about the assistance available to help them avoid foreclosure.
Because California is the state with the highest number of foreclosures in the country, U.S. Representative Grace F. Napalitano attempted to help resident homeowners by holding a free foreclosure prevention fair on June 5th in La Puente, Calif. At the fair, experts and reps from local banks were in attendance.
Florida, as well as several other states, held similar workshops in May and Illinois’ Chicago area will hold its own foreclosure workshop in June. Hopefully, these types of fairs aimed to assist homeowners facing foreclosure will continue. (LoanSafe.org)
