I’d say Bank Transfer Day was a big success for credit unions. However, like many laws and initiates, “The Law of Unintended Consequences” likely kicked into effect: Wal-Mart (WMT) may have unexpectedly benefited from BTD as well.

The home buying process is an exciting time for many people. As you start to look for homes, you may be wondering if you should build a home or buy a preexisting home. While there are pros and cons to each decision, you may be surprised at what you can get when you compare the two.

It’s a new month, which means a new edition to our Best Time to Buy guide. You might be expecting to find holiday-related sales and deals–and you’re right.
