State Employees’ Credit Union of North Carolina is one of the few financial institutions that is offering a competitive money market account interest rate. In fact, today, they are offering a high-interest money market rate of 1.26% APY.
In order to be eligible for this money market account, there is a $250.00 opening deposit required. The specified rate is effective as of August 19, 2010, but rates are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the credit union.
