Clear Sky Account from Chesapeake Bank Lowers to 1.65% APY

The Clear Sky Account from Chesapeake Bank drops to 1.65% APY from the 1.75% we reported in October. However, the details of the account remain the same:

  • 1.75% APY for balances up to $249,999.99
  • 0.50% APY for balances of $250,000 and over
  • No monthly fees

Also, there are e-Tools to take advantage of including online banking, mobile banking, e-Statements and the touch-tone teller. Interest is compounded monthly.

The minimum to open and maintain is $1, which is incredibly reasonable. The accounts available nationwide and can be opened online.
