Last month we took our cat in for his well care visit and rabies shot. All in all, it went well; next visit he has to have some blood work done to monitor any side effects of his current medication. Having him has been a treat for us, but it’s also a responsibility and pet costs can really add up.
With the economy affecting so many people, including pet owners, I wanted to share some tips on how you can save money on pet care for your furry (or feathered) friend.

But just because your favorite stores are advertising Black Friday deals doesn’t mean you should jump on every one you see. Believe it or not, there are some items you should pass up on this major shopping holiday. Here are 8 items for which retailers rarely offer the best Black Friday deals: 

A $25 restaurant gift certificate for $2. An hour-long Swedish massage at half-off. Some deals are just too good to pass up. After all, when it comes to daily deals and coupon sites like Groupon, the more you spend, the more you save. 

Black Friday kicks off the biggest shopping time of the year as people begin racking up Christmas gifts for family and friends. Of course, everyone knows Black Friday offers the opportunity to save money with amazing discounts on popular items, but with the growing popularity of online shopping, many retailers have started offering their deals prior to Black Friday, especially via their websites.
