Forbes lists JPMorgan Chase as one of America’s biggest banks — with assets of $2.39 trillion — making it an excellent financial institution to follow. The company’s Twitter account handle is @jpmorgan and it has 364,000 followers.

Wells Fargo

The popular financial institution listed its current assets as $1.9 trillion, its current number of banks as 8,600 and its number of ATMs at 13,000 in its first quarter 2017 report. Wells Fargo has an active Twitter account with 266,000 followers and more than 12,400 tweets.

You can find Wells Fargo on Twitter by looking up the handle @WellsFargo. Customers in need of support should go to @Ask_WellsFargo, where all questions and concerns will be immediately addressed, according to Wells Fargo.

Bank of America

Bank of America is one of the top banks on Twitter. One of the important fintech influencers, the bank reported a 13 percent growth at the end of 2016 that earned it an additional $18 billion. Bank of America’s Twitter handle is @BankofAmerica — it has 488,000 followers and posts regularly about its services and partnerships.

You can even enter the occasional contest to win San Francisco Giants tickets, for example. Customers are welcome to ask questions by using the handle @BofA_Help. The company monitors and responds to this account from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.

TD Bank

One of the 10 largest banks in America, TD Bank has a solid Twitter presence with a total of 44,000 followers and more than 76,000 tweets. Customers can learn more about finance on Twitter by visiting the company’s main page, @TDBank_US, or by entering the handle for its official newsroom page, @TDNews_US. According to TD Bank, it addresses all comments it gets through Twitter in a timely manner right on the company’s main Twitter page.

Citizens Bank

Citizens Bank is owned by Citizens Financial Group, which lists its assets at $151.4 billion. Follow this company on Twitter for information on its mobile apps and 24-hour customer service.

Citizen’s Bank’s Twitter handle is @CitizensBank — the account has 19,300 followers and 24,200 tweets. Questions and concerns are taken seriously at @AskCitizensBank, where customers regularly post about their positive experiences with the bank’s customer service team. Citibank is owned by Citigroup Inc., which listed its assets as $1.792 trillion in its 2016 annual report. In addition, Citi was ranked No.1 in fixed-income market share for two years in a row.

Follow Citibank on Twitter using the handle @Citibank to interact with the company and its 377,000 followers. For customer service assistance, you’ll need to use the handle @AskCiti. Watch for promotions, like a chance to be featured on the Citi fan cam.
