Advantages and Disadvantages of Umpqua Bank
For the most part, the majority of customers had nothing but good things to say about Umpqua Bank. Described as a comfy local bank, customer reviews emphasized the bank’s high level of customer service and it’s swiftness with handling issues. Branches serve coffee and cookies in the lobby, which scored big with customers. And the kid’s table in the lobby was a godsend for customers with children.
As far as negative comments, some customers took issue with the bank’s hours. Some branches don’t open until 10 a.m. on the weekdays, which created problems for customers who needed to handle banking matters before work.
Additionally, the bank is only located in four states — Oregon, Washington, California and Nevada. But despite limited branch locations, online services are available to customers outside these states.
