As a part of the GO GREEN movement Fishback Financial is offering a FREE high-yield rewards checking account called the easyGROW Checking. The concept of the easyGROW Checking idea is that you plant your money into the account and then watch the money grow every month since the interest money will gradually grow in your checking account. Depending on the balance available monthly and whether you meet the monthly requirements in the checking account, the rates you are able to earn in the account will vary. The balance requirements for rate qualifications are:

  • Balance of up to $25K earn 4.01% APY
  • Balance of $25K and over earn 0.75% APY
  • If monthly requirements are not met the base rate is 0.20%

Monthly requirements for the easyGROW Checking are:

  • 10 purchases using your Visa check card
  • You must have at least 1 direct deposit or 1 auto payment
  • You must enroll and receive eStatements only

This checking account is actually a good account for those just building out their wealth as there are no minimum balance requirements, no monthly charges, offers ATM refunds worldwide (great for traveling college students and working professionals), and offers both free online banking and free online bill pay service. If you’re interested in this type of account the bank requires that you put in an initial deposit of $100 to start building your wealth.
