What You Need to Know About Citi ThankYou Premier Card
The Citi ThankYou Premier Card is a reward credit card that offers flexible ways to earn and redeem points. It’s also unique in that you can transfer points to participating airline loyalty programs. Keep in mind that there is a $95 annual fee with this card after the first year, so it might not be a good fit for people who wouldn’t earn enough rewards to make up for the fee.

In addition to allowing you to earn points with every purchases, this Citi card comes with a number of additional perks and benefits.
Triple ThankYou Points on Travel
If your credit card purchase involves any form of travel, chances are you’ll earn three Citi ThankYou Points per dollar on the charge. Cardholders receive triple points on any purchases made on gas, airfare, hotels, cruises, car rentals, travel agency bookings, railways, public transportation, tolls, taxis, parking and much more.
Extra Point Perks for Frequent Flyers
There’s no expiration and no limit on the ThankYou Points you can earn, and there are a variety of redemption options for these points, including gift cards and concert tickets. However, the best way to use ThankYou Points is towards airfare — when you redeem points for airfare through the ThankYou Travel Center, points are worth 25 percent more than points redeemed for gift cards through the Citi ThankYou Rewards collection.
In addition, you can transfer qualifying ThankYou Points towards several airline loyalty programs, including TrueBlue, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer. There is no fee to transfer points, and the minimum transfer is only 1,000 points.
