    Originally founded as the Alachua County Teachers' Credit Union, Florida Credit Union (FCU) has been serving the financial needs of members since 1954. Since then, FCU has grown to serve over 54,000 members in 19 counties. Membership is available to anyone who works or lives in the following counties: Alachua, Bradford, Citrus, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Flagler, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hernando, Lake, Levy, Marion, Putnam, St. Johns, Sumter, Suwannee, Union and Volusia. Members enjoy the convenience of 10 local ATMs and branches as well as free access to network ATMs and fee-rebates to any nationwide ATM.
