Lake Michigan Credit Union was founded in 1933 by 13 enterprising teachers as the Grand Rapids Teachers Credit Union. Today membership is offered to persons who reside, work, attend school or worship within any county in the State of Michigan's lower peninsula and donors to the ALS Association, West Michigan Chapter.
