Schools Financial Credit Union was chartered in 1933 by a group of seven teachers. Headquartered in Sacramento, CA, the member-owned financial cooperative now has more than $1.4 billion in assets and more than 112,000 members. Membership is available to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer, Sutter, Yuba, Butte, Nevada, San Joaquin, Solano and Yolo counties as well as students, members, and employees of select educational groups (see website for details).
