In 2015, he signed a four-year contract extension for $87.6 million with a signing bonus of $31 million and a $60 million guarantee. In 2019, however, things changed radically: He signed a four-year, $140 million contract extension with a massive $65 million signing bonus, considered the biggest deal in NFL history at the time.

Forbes ranked Wilson No. 46 on its 2022 list of the world’s highest-paid athletes, estimating he made $14 million that year in endorsements. He has sponsorship agreements with Alaska Airlines, Amazon, Bose, Fanatics, General Dynamics, Mercedes-Benz, Nike, Panini, Spin Master Corp. and Wilson Sporting Goods, Forbes reported.
His total net worth is now valued at $165 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
Wilson has also made waves in his personal life, by dating and then marrying entertainer Ciara. They received media attention for taking a vow of celibacy until they married, which they did in July 2016 in England. The couple has since had two children together.
The Wilsons have shared their wealth generously, including a donation of 1 million meals to the Seattle-area food bank at the start of the coronavirus pandemic. For that and other philanthropic efforts, Wilson received the NFL’s highest off-field honor, Walter Payton Man of the Year, in 2020.
