Net worth: $170 million

Russell Westbrook is the point guard of the Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA. Westbrook played the first 11 seasons of his career in Oklahoma City before playing one season with the Houston Rockets and one with the Washington Wizards.

He landed in Los Angeles to join LeBron James and Anthony Davis in the 2021-22 season. With James and Davis missing a combined 68 games because of injury, they didn’t have much of a chance to jell with Westbrook, and the team missed the playoffs.

He won the MVP award in 2017 and is a nine-time All-Star. Following his MVP season, Westbrook signed a five-year, $205 million contract extension with Oklahoma City — the largest contract in NBA history, at that point. The final year of the contract is a $47.1 million player option that Westbook is expected to exercise for the 2022-23 season.
