This is Peter with biblemoneymatters.com, and this is my one minute money tip. Pay TV customers have an average monthly bill of $123 dollars according to the NPD group. My tip to save money is just to get rid of your expensive cable TV package and become a cord-cutter. These days there are a ton of free, over the air content options as well as streaming online options. First thing you need to do is get an over the air DVR like the Tablo TV DVR. You can record all of your ov- favorite over the air shows, and watch them on all of your different devices. Second, get a video streaming device. Something like the Amazon Fire TV Stick, which is my favorite, for $39 dollars. Third, subscribe to a video streaming service. Some of my favorites are Sling TV, Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu, and HBO Now. Once you’re set up, you’re going to be saving about $100 dollars per month, and who wouldn’t want an extra $1,200 dollars per year? Check out more at biblemoneymatters.com/cordcutter.
