Princess Eugenie — one of the richest princesses in the world — and Jack Brooksbank are set to tie the knot on Oct. 12 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle — the same place where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got married in May of this year.
The couple has invited 850 guests — even more than Markle and Harry, who invited 600 — and also opened up the invitation to 1,200 members of the public to watch from the Windsor Castle grounds, Harper’s Bazaar reported. Although the lottery to attend the wedding on the grounds is now closed, you might be able to catch a glimpse of the royal newlyweds during their carriage ride through part of Windsor High Street. But if you want to attend the royal event, be prepared to shell out some serious cash.

The Macdonald Windsor Hotel, one of the four-star hotels still available, was completely sold out months ahead of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding, People reported.
- Philip Treacy hat: $825
If you’re going to attend a royal wedding, you should dress the part. Take a cue from Kate Middleton, who wore an Alexander McQueen coat dress and a Philip Treacy hat to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding. But note that dressing like a royal comes with a hefty price tag: A similar hat sells for $825 on Net-a-Porter, and Alexander McQueen coats can set you back over $3,000.
- Dom Perignon champagne: $145
There are actually rules about the types of gifts you can give to a member of the British royal family. Official protocol limits the gifts royals are allowed to accept from individuals they don’t know personally to flowers, food and other consumable items; copies of books from the book’s author; and items that cost less than 150 pounds. A nice bottle of champagne falls into both the “consumable” and “less than 150 pounds” category, so it’s a safe bet for a royal wedding gift. Or you can follow Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s lead and give to a charitable donation instead.
- Cost per day: $36
Since you won’t actually be a guest at the wedding, you’ll have to shell out your own cash for meals during your trip. The average cost of food per person per day in London is $36, according to Budget Your Trip. Be sure to eat some fish and chips while you’re there.
