Additionally, dealers are always more eager to sell toward the end of the month to reach sales goals. All of those factors can add up to some great deals on car buying and leasing this Nov. 24.
Retailers of high-end goods, including Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus Last Call, will offer discounts on their luxury goods, including some designer handbags, as part of their Black Friday sales. Nordstrom’s sale will include discounts on designer items from Tory Burch, Kate Spade New York and more.
Typically, laptops and tablets are a mainstay of doorbuster ads, but you’ll see some of the lowest prices of the year on select desktop computers, said Brent Shelton, online shopping expert with BFAds.net.
“Fry’s offered a basic desktop for $49, and Dell had their Inspiron Micro Desktop for under $100 and a few other all-in-one desktops for less than $250,” he said. “Expect several great deals for desktop PCs with at least 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive, monitor, keyboard and mouse from Dell, HP and Lenovo.”

Carriers such as Cathay Pacific, Delta Air Lines and Singapore Airlines offered discounts and awards deals during last year’s Black Friday sales, The Huffington Post reported. Watch for similar discounts this year, and increase your odds of getting a great deal by checking with the best airlines for cheap flights.
Refresh your home or help a friend or family member upgrade theirs with furniture gifts. Expect steep discounts on dining room sets, sofas, sectionals and other home furnishings during this year’s Black Friday sales. Ashley Furniture HomeStore has offered more than 60 percent off some items in previous years, while La-Z-Boy has offered $1,000 discounts on some products.

If you wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate your house for Christmas, you can score some great deals on holiday decor.
“Last Black Friday, holiday lights and decorations such as 100-count string lights were marked down to as low as $3 at dozens of retailers,” Shelton said. “Extension cords and power strips were sold for under $5, and ornaments, garland, gift wrap and gift boxes were as low as $1 per item.”

Get a head start on your New Year’s resolutions by purchasing new home gym equipment during Thanksgiving weekend. Expect to see major discounts on treadmills from retailers including Sears, Sam’s Club and MC Sports.
You can get the best hotel rates or money back when you book a future stay on Black Friday. Last year, Canyon Ranch resorts offered guest vouchers for bookings of $500 or more, while Fairmont Hotels and Resorts offered bonus gift cards with gift card purchases, The Huffington Post reported. Additionally, Marriott, Starwood, Viceroy, St. Giles and Peninsula hotels offered discounted rates at some locations.
When shopping for a special lady in your life, keep in mind that diamonds are a girl’s best friend — and this is probably the best time of year to buy them. Retail chains often have heavily discounted jewelry for Black Friday. For example, Walmart offered hundreds of dollars off diamond jewelry last year.

Luggage deals are another surprising Black Friday find, Shelton said. “The savings can be significant. Expect 24-inch hard-side spinners for under $50 at Macy’s, and full four- to five-piece luggage sets under $50 at Kohl’s and Kmart. Other budget carry-ons and rolling duffles will be priced under $25 from stores like JCPenney, Boscov’s, Bon-Ton and Shopko,” he added.
Black Friday is the best day to stock up on beauty gifts for yourself and everyone else on your holiday shopping list. Sephora and Ulta both will offer Black Friday sale prices on popular beauty items, plus many makeup brands will post deals directly on their sites.
Last year’s sales included 20 percent off Glossier products sitewide, 20 percent off Giorgio Armani Beauty products sitewide, 25 percent off Josie Maran products and 20 percent off Urban Decay products on their respective sites, The Huffington Post reported.
If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your mattress, Black Friday might be the best time to do it. Sears has offered up to 60 percent off top brand mattresses in past years, so you can expect similar savings this year. US-Mattress.com is offering up to $225 off Ameena mattresses for its Black Friday sale, which runs through Jan. 23.
Expect to see discounts on perfume and perfume gift sets at Macy’s, Sephora, The Perfume Shop, Perfumania and Ulta for Black Friday this year. It’s a great time to stock up on perfume for yourself or to give to friends and family at Christmas or throughout the coming year.
Don’t forget about your furry friends! Pet supply retailers such as PetSmart and Petco often run their own Black Friday promotions so you can find affordable ways to spoil your pets. PetSmart’s 2016 deals included 50 percent off select treats, chews, toys, beds, collars and crates.
“Petco and Petsmart also offer services like grooming, teeth cleaning and training at 50 percent off or more, and even pets are discounted up to half off, especially fish and reptiles and their aquarium setups,” Shelton said.
Sporting goods and outdoor equipment retailers have Black Friday deals on everything from kayaks to ski goggles. Last year, Cabela’s discounted some kayaks by $150, and Campmor offered discounts on ski goggles and snowshoes.
Black Friday is a great time to stock up on tools for yourself or others, said Shelton. “Expect more than 700 Black Friday tool deals under $50, ranging from 200-plus piece mechanics’ tools sets, 50-piece ratchet sets, winches, toolbox storage, Dremel tool sets and even power drills and saws from Sears, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Menards and other tool retailers,” he said. “Other tools sets like drill bits and hand tools are readily available under $25.”
Vineyards and online wine stores usually offer discounts on wine bottles for Black Friday, Entrepreneur reported. And major retailers, including Whole Foods, have offered wine discounts in-store in past years. Cheers to that!
