To help taxpayers survive the always difficult tax season, TurboTax is offering assistance this year via Twitter. By enlisting 14 people known as Team Turbo Tax to answer questions regarding both tax and software questions, anyone wanting to file taxes online via TurboTax’s software can get the help they need.
One of Many Social Networking Initiatives
If you pay a visit to the account, it looks like the team is ready to answer your questions through its @teamturbotax account. But this is not the only social media initiative that TurboTax is trying to get involved with the online community.
On Facebook, TurboTax is offering a tax Q&A. In addition, the TurboTax’s parent company Intuit is offering an online community that has more than 10 million current users all addressing tax topics.
How to Get Your Questions Answered
If you want to jump on board with others who will be getting free access to tax assistance online, you’ll need to sign up for a Twitter account (if you don’t already have one), visit the Team Turbo Tax page then begin following them to communicate.
Currently, there are only about 300 followers, so now’s as good a time as any to jump on board. As you know, when April 15 approaches, more people will be seeking help. Also, if you’re looking for additional assistance, feel free to visit this handy tax preparation guide.
Maybe you should try using Turbotax, our recommended tax preparation software.
