In an effort to improve the online banking experience for customers, Arvest Bank has upgraded to a new system as of July 25, 2010. It not only improves the overall look, navigation speed and ease of use of Arvest online banking, but also adds several new features never before offered to Arvest Bank customers.
New Arvest Bank Online Features
Arvest describes the newly added features in their blog, some of which we found especially noteworthy:
E-mail Alerts: Customers may choose to be notified when their transactions over a specified amount occur or when a particular check number clears. They may also opt to receive SMS text alerts to complement the e-mails.
Accessibility Mode: Arvest accommodates their customers who might otherwise find it difficult to bank online by allowing the site to be read in accessibility mode. This can be used for personal online banking with a screen reader application or for users with a slow internet connection.
Enhanced E.Statements: In addition to the usual information provided by e.statements, Arvest will include actual check images.
Information for Arvest Customers Who Bank Online
If you already have an online banking login and password set up with Arvest, you don’t have to worry about changing the information and there will be no need to re-enroll.
Arvest does recommend, however, that customers who plan to use mobile device web browsers like Blackberry RIM, or their iPhone, iPad or Android browsers to bank online download the Arvest Mobile Banking application for the highest quality experience.
