Biography:

Daymond John is a Shark on “Shark Tank.” John is the founder and CEO of the clothing brand FUBU, as well as a New York Times bestselling author, branding guru and motivational speaker.

John started his work in fashion by sewing sweatshirts and hats, which eventually led to the creation of FUBU. Thanks to the success of his brand, John was asked to join “Shark Tank” in 2009.

He has gone on to write a number of books and won the 2017 NAACP Image Award for “Outstanding Literary Work – Instructional.” He was also honored in 2015 when he was named a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship and was part of an exclusive group that joined President Barack Obama at the Global Entrepreneur Summit in Kenya.
