Ciaran McEvoy’s background includes legal, business and financial journalism. His work has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, Investor’s Business Daily and other publications. Among the topics he has written about during his career are commercial real estate, banking, the stock market, celebrity justice, civil litigation and the U.S. Justice Department. He has been extoling the virtues of low-cost index funds to others – with limited success. Ciaran has a bachelor’s degree from the University of California San Diego and received a journalism degree from Northwestern University. In his free time, he is a bookworm, an avid filmgoer and a devoted fan of the Los Angeles Lakers. He eagerly awaits the day when order is restored to the galaxy when the Lakers start competing for NBA championships again.
