Helping young people who are just starting out learn what they need to know to set themselves up financially is particularly rewarding for her. A former financial advisor, Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Boston College. She worked in sales and marketing for various companies in the high technology and financial services sectors before finding her true calling as a writer. Karen also writes on subjects such as technology and parenting, particularly on special needs parenting. Her short story was included in the anthology A Cup of Comfort for Parents of Children with Autism. Karen lives in a lovely seaside community in Massachusetts. In her spare time, she enjoys visits from her three adult children, and cheering on the Red Sox and the Patriots. Someday, she’ll write a book.
