Karen Doyle is a personal finance writer with over 20 years’ experience writing about investments, money management and financial planning. Her work has appeared on numerous news and finance
websites including GOBankingRates, Yahoo! Finance, MSN, USA Today, CNBC, Equifax.com, and more. Helping young people who are just starting out learn what they need to know to set themselves up financially is particularly rewarding for her.
A former financial advisor, Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Boston College. She worked in sales and marketing for various companies in the high technology and financial services sectors before finding her true calling as a writer.
Karen also writes on subjects such as technology and parenting, particularly on special needs parenting. Her short story was included in the anthology A Cup of Comfort for Parents of Children with Autism. Karen lives in a lovely seaside community in Massachusetts. In her spare time, she enjoys visits from her three adult children, and cheering on the Red Sox and the Patriots. Someday, she’ll write a book.
