Michelle Schroeder-Gardner is the founder of Making Sense of Cents, an award-winning personal finance blog that helps millions of readers each year learn how to pay off debt, earn more and live life on their own terms.  After paying off nearly $40,000 in student loans in just seven months, Michelle left her day job to pursue blogging full-time. Michelle has been featured in Forbes, Business Insider, CNBC, Reader's Digest and more. For nearly 10 years, Michelle lived full-time traveling the country in an RV and sailing the Caribbean on a sailboat. She currently splits her time between Colorado and Florida with her husband and daughter and is passionate about helping others design a flexible and fulfilling life.
