President Donald Trump has had plenty of business flops ā Trump UniversityĀ and Trump Airlines, to name a few ā and some potentially dubious dealings that have garnered the attention of the New York State attorney general for potential tax fraudĀ since The New York Times got a hold of hisĀ long sought after taxes. Nonetheless, countless major real estate properties across the country stand as testaments to his success.
His most famous holdings, like Trump Tower New York, put big money into both Trumpās net worth and the family brand. But Trump Tower NYC is just one property in one state. See where some of Trumpās most valuable holdingsĀ call home and how much income they earned, according to a 2019 Office of Government Ethics disclosure. And then compare them to his other pricey purchases.
California
The 18-hole Trump National Golf Club just outside of Los Angeles offers panoramic views of the Pacific coast. Also serving as a destination for weddings and events, the property is worth more than $50 million and brought in an income of just over $18 million in 2019 from golf revenue and land sales.
The public course surrounds Trumpās other California holding: The Estates at Trump National.
Connecticut
Trump Parc Stamford is the presidentās only property in Connecticut. It also holds the title of the only luxury high rise in the city of Stamford. Residences in the building have views of the New York City skyline, where Trumpās business mecca is headquartered. As of 2019, Trump did not report any earned income on the property.
Florida
Only New York hosts more Trump properties than Florida, which is home to seven. The famous Mar-a-Lago Club,Ā President Trumpās weekend getaway of choice, is worth more than $50 million and earns nearly $21.5 million per year.
Trump National Doral in Miami and Trump National Golf Club JupiterĀ are also worth more than $50 million each. They bring in $77.2 million and $14.6 million per year, respectively.
The third-most profitable Trump business in Florida is the Trump International Golf Club, which is worth between $25 million and $50 million. It earns more than $12.6 million annually.
Trumpās other Florida properties include:
- Trump Grande, Sunny Isles
- Trump Hollywood
- Trump Towers, Sunny Isles
Hawaii
The only Trump property in the state of Hawaii is part of the Trump hotel business: Trump International Hotel & Tower Waikiki. The hotel, which held the title of best in Waikiki for 76 consecutive months on TripAdvisor, is just off the beach in Honolulu. The hotel brings in more than $1.9 million a year.
Illinois
Thereās only one Trump International Realty property in the state of Illinois, but its singularity doesnāt make it any less audacious. The Trump International Hotel & Tower is located in the heart of Chicagoās downtown area, stretching high over the Chicago River.
Nevada
Trump International Realty has tentacles that reach all the way to Nevada, too. The Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas is located just off the Strip on Fashion Show Drive. Itās been a staple of Sin City since 2008. The hotel isĀ valued at over $50 million and earns an income of $23.3 million.
New Jersey
There are two Trump properties in the Garden State ā Trump National Golf Club Bedminster and the Trump National Golf Club Colts Neck ā both of which are worth more than $50 million. The two properties earn incomes of $17.7 million and $7.6 million, respectively.
New Jersey used to be home to a third Trump property, Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino, but the luxury residential tower in Jersey City closed in 2014.
New York
Home to the 15 properties included here, New York isĀ the heart of Trumpās business empire. Though arguably the most famous of his properties, Trump Tower New York is actually not the top-earner in the state, though it is worth more than $50 million and earns more than $5 million per year.
Trump Park Avenue used to be the most valuable Trump property in New York, once worth more than $50 million and claiming an income of over $16 million with both rent and condo sales. However, according to his financial disclosure filed in 2019, itās now worth between $5 million and $25 million and claims an income of over $5 million. Trump National Golf Club Westchester is second-best, valued at between $5 million and $25 million and bringing in just shy of $7.7 million.
There are multiple other Trump golf courses in the state, too. Both Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley and Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point are worth between $5 million and $25 million, earning $4.4 million and $8 million per year, respectively.
Despite its name, Trump Palace is not the most lavish of Trumpās New York properties, worth between $5 million and $25 million. And it seems that people arenāt willing to pay as much for this one, as it only brings in between $100,000 and $1 million.
The state is also home to:
- Trump International Hotel & Tower New York
- 610 Park Avenue
- Trump Parc
- Trump Parc East
- Trump Park Residences, Yorktown
- Trump Place
- Trump Plaza, New Rochelle
- Trump World Tower
- Trump Tower at City Center, Westchester
North Carolina
North Carolina is home to just one Trump property, Trump National Golf Club Charlotte, which is valued at between $5 million and $25 million. The club earns profits of about $12.7 million a year.
Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania also counts just one Trump property in the state. With annual profits just shy of $4.4 million, the Trump National Golf Club Philadelphia is worth between $5 million and $25 million.
Virginia
Virginia is home to three properties related to Trumpās wine business.
Trump Vineyard Estates is worth between $5 million and $25 million. It earns the brand between $100,000 and $1 million a year. Virginia is also home to Trump Winery and Albemarle Estate at Trump Winery.
Washington, D.C.
Youāll find two Trump holdings in the nationās capital. The Trump National Golf Club Washington, D.C., is valued at more than $50 million and earns more than $14.7 million. The city is also home to Trump International Hotel Washington, D.C.
