Biography:
Barbara Huson is a financial therapist, wealth coach and the author of “Secrets of Six-Figure Women: Surprising Strategies to Up Your Earnings and Change Your Life.” Her goal is to empower women to become smart about money and increase their wealth.
Huson’s own journey toward financial independence and freedom was born out of necessity when her ex-husband left the country and left her with a tax bill of $1 million. Huson realized she needed to learn how to make money immediately, so she used her skills as a former journalist and began interviewing successful women to get their best insights.
Huson gathered those insights and published them in her first book, “Prince Charming Isn’t Coming: How Women Get Smart About Money.” She then set off around the country educating women about finances — the start of her new career.
For her next book, “Secrets of Six-Figure Women: Surprising Strategies to Up Your Earnings and Change Your Life,” Huson interviewed over 150 women who made $100,000 or more. She also began teaching what she learned in her “Overcoming Underearning” seminars, and eventually interviewed women she met at these seminars for her follow-up book, “Overcoming Underearning: A Five-Step Plan to a Richer Life.”
Huson is also the author of “Sacred Success” and “Rewire for Wealth.” In addition to her books, Huson offers resources for women to build wealth through her coaching services, online courses, mentorship programs and retreats.
