Concerned about high mortgage rates? Worried about housing availability? You may soon have reasons to breathe a big sigh of relief.
Realtor.com recently cast its national housing forecast, predicting a 2025 national housing market in which housing inventory will improve, mortgage rates will lessen and home production will increase to close out the housing deficit. Additionally, Realtor.com catalogued what it predicts to be the top housing markets of 2025.
What to make of Realtor.com’s prediction? Perhaps the most interesting detail is the fact that the top 10 markets of 2025 all fall within the Sun Belt (a stretch of the states across the South and the Southwest). In that top 10, Colorado Springs, Colorado, reigns supreme at No. 1; moreover, a large amount of the cities in the list all fall within the American West. Â
As such, GOBankingRates has gathered from the Realtor.com forecast the 15 top markets of 2025 that are in the Western United States.
