After years of high mortgage rates, depleted housing inventories and low home production numbers, the American housing market has been on unsteady ground.
In a recent national housing forecast, Realtor.com predicted that a great deal of the top housing markets will be in the South and West, with the top 10 markets exclusively located in the Sun Belt. The South is strongly represented in that top 10 — with such states as Texas, Georgia and more — as well as throughout the remainder of the list.
