Jeff Bezos, with an estimated net worth of $216 billion, is currently the third-richest human being on Earth. The founder, executive chairman and former present/CEO of Amazon can have nearly everything he wants, including cars.
His garage includes a number of vehicles — the Lykan HyperSport, the Bugatti Veyron Mansory, the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita and the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster — that each cost well over $3 million and are famously part of Bezos’ fleet of personal rides.
That said, Bezos also has a number for surprisingly low-cost cars (for a billionaire, at least). So many people compare the lives of billionaires to their own; looking at Bezos’ cheaper vehicles, how many of his cars could you afford?
1997 Honda Accord
- Cost: $17,990
As reported by Southwest Journal, Bezos once arrived to a “60 Minutes” interview in a sturdy little Honda Accord, despite his shockingly high net worth. Asked why he was rolling up in a car worth less than $20,000, Bezos shrugged off the question by noting, “Why not? It’s a perfectly good car.”
Lincoln MKT Stretch Limousine
- Cost: $50,000
Bezos was seen cruising up to the set of “Star Trek: Beyond” (in which he had a cameo role) in the Lincoln MKT Stretch Limousine. The limo has a powerhouse 3.7-liter V6 engine with 300 horsepower and comes with a pricey (for most people) five-figure tag.
2020 Cadillac Escalade
- Cost: $79,490
While the Escalade is often seen as a symbol of glitzy wealth, the full-size luxury SUV still costs less than $100,000. The 420 hp mean machine comes packing a 6.2-liter V8 engine and a sleek, durable style.
2018 Land Rover Range Rover
- Cost: $87,350
Much like the Escalade, the Land Rover Range Rover is another luxury SUV that ekes in under $100,000. Unlike the Escalade, which is pure Hollywood flash, the Land Rover is powerful mix of luxurious perks with tough and rugged looks.
2018 Mercedes-Benz S450
- Cost: $89,900
With a cost of $89,900, the Mercedes-Benz S450 is the last known vehicle belonging to Bezos that costs less than $100,000. The sedan is pure luxury, with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine capable of 362 hp and a top speed of 155 mph.
