Deborah is a freelance consultant and business strategist with over 28 years of experience in the finance industry. She has worked, studied and lived in Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, France, Ireland, England and Switzerland. While in the corporate world, she worked with notable finance companies including Arthur Anderson, Nikko Securities, The Chicago Mercantile Exchange and Société Generale FIMAT trading management. As a licensed broker, her areas of expertise include international business, finance, entrepreneurship, college planning, portfolio management, derivative products, lending and trading practices. She received a BA in business administration from Augustana College, and an MBA from the University of Chicago in finance and economics. In addition, she received a full fellowship in Japanese Language to attend Harvard University. Her current career includes managing her own freelance consulting firm while teaching graduate finance courses as an Adjunct Professor at universities in the Chicagoland area.
