Latifah Al-Hazza received her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and her master’s degree in journalism from the University of Southern California. Latifah has worked as an editorial assistant at CNN as well as a social media manager and editorial assistant at Frommer’s Travel Guides. Latifah now is a freelance travel journalist and the Cofounder of Femscape Sojourns, a boutique women’s travel company. Her area of writing expertise deals with anything related to travel. From budgeting for an upcoming vacation to knowing the least expensive months to travel to countries, Latifah is a travel guru. Latifah has traveled to over forty countries and says that the Galapagos Islands has been favorite place. When not traveling, Latifah can be found trying out the latest restaurants, creating travel itineraries for others or in a Pilates or spin class.
