It’s becoming increasingly expensive to live a billionaire lifestyle. According to Forbes’ Cost of Living Extremely Well Index, which tracks the cost of ultra-luxurious goods and high-end services, expenses for the richest Americans increased by 5.5% in 2025 — double the annual bump in the consumer price index, which rose by 2.7% in 2025.
