Grant Cardone is a big fan of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The businessman has been outspoken with his belief that the agency led by Elon Musk is working for the greater good.

He’s such a staunch supporter of Musk’s mission that he’s suggested those who oppose it are unpatriotic. He referred to those against DOGE as “not good Americans” in a March 2025 X post.

Cardone Sees DOGE as a Protest Against Government Waste and Corruption

Cardone quoted Musk: “The sheer amount of waste and fraud in the government, it is astonishing — it’s mind boggling. We routinely encounter wastes of $1 billion or more – casually.”

Offering further clarification for backing DOGE, in a February 2025 X post, Cardone shared a graphic stating that the 50 richest members of Congress have a combined net worth of $4.8 billion — with an annual salary of $174,000. He accompanied the graphic with the words “50 more reasons for DOGE.”

The wealth of certain Congress members is only one reason Cardone approves of DOGE. He also referred to the IRS as “thieves,” “parasites on the American people,” and “a Ponzi scheme” in a February 2025 interview on “The Ingraham Angle.”

He said the federal government should get rid of the IRS and go to a zero-tax system. When the U.S. needs money — i.e., for the military — he said it should just be printed.

Currently, Cardone said the U.S. is both taxing Americans and printing money, but he believes only the latter is necessary. However, he noted that the option to impose taxes or print money should be up to the American people.

Cardone and Ingraham also discussed a possible $5,000 check that Americans could potentially get from DOGE savings.

DOGE Inspiring Cardone To Cut Costs

Musk and DOGE have been slashing funding to government entities at a rapid pace. Specifically, the agency has saved $140 billion — $869.57 per taxpayer — as of March 30, according to the DOGE website.

This has encouraged Cardone to take action in his own businesses.

“I’m so inspired by DOGE I am looking for ways in which my companies have gotten fat and sloppy,” he posted on X in February 2025.

Cost-cutting measures aren’t just for the federal government or businesses. You could also apply this philosophy to your own life by looking at your spending and finding ways to save money.

For example, if you review your credit card statement, you might find that you’re paying for subscriptions you don’t use or services you don’t really need. This is a relatively quick and easy way to increase your wealth, so do your budget a favor and complete this task.
