Biography:

Jill Schlesinger, CFP, is an Emmy-nominated and Gracie Award-winning business analyst for CBS News. She writes the nationally syndicated column “Jill on Money” for Tribune Media Services and hosts a podcast of the same name.

Schlesinger has published two books, “The Dumb Things Smart People Do With Their Money” and “The Great Money Reset.”

She has had a number of achievements, from Gracie Awards to being named one of the “10 Financial Experts You Should Be Following Right Now” by Time.

Why She’s One of Money’s Most Influential Women:

Before her current work, Schlesinger spent 14 years as the co-owner of and chief investment officer for an independent investment advisory firm. She then went on to be the editor-in-chief for MoneyWatch.com. Since then, she has continued to cover the economy, markets, investing and other personal finance matters.
