My only addition to ChatGPT’s advice? Start with the fixes that bother you most. If cracked caulk drives you crazy every morning, fix that first. You’ll enjoy the improvement while you live there, and buyers will notice the attention to detail when it’s time to sell.

For under $1,000 and a few weekends of work, you can make your home feel like a completely different place. Not bad for following advice from a chatbot.
