Ryan Guina

Ryan Guina is a military veteran, writer, speaker, and small business owner. He has over a decade of experience writing about personal finance, investing, and military benefits. His writing has been featured in Forbes.com, US News & World Report, Yahoo Finance, Military.com, Reserve & National Guard Magazine, and many other financial and military publications.

Ryan served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force for six and a half years and completed five overseas deployments. He earned a degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and later worked for a Fortune 500 company as a data analyst and business process modeler on USAF logistics systems. His desire to continue his service in the U.S. military brought him back in uniform after an eight-year break in service. He continues to serve our country as an officer in the Air National Guard.

As someone who has a strong belief in the power of personal agency, Ryan believes we should all take charge of our personal situations, which includes our finances. To put this belief into action, he started two websites after leaving active duty service, TheMilitaryWallet.com and CashMoneyLife.com. He continues to operate these websites to help people take advantage of their military benefits and to make better financial decisions.
