Sally Elbassir is a social media manager and the founder of the food and travel website, Passport & Plates. She received a degree in Business from the University of Southern California and spent several years working as a media buyer before becoming an entrepreneur.

 Although she’s an Angeleno at heart, she splits her time between Los Angeles and the world and has written for publications such as The Huffington Post, Airbnb Magazine and Egyptian Streets. She’s a firm believer that local food and travel experiences are the best form of education and started Passport & Plates to show everyday people that budget and authentic travel is attainable.
