Only the $8 monthly fee on the Everyday Checking account is waivable with a monthly direct deposit of $500 or a $200 average daily balance.
Only one account, the Elite Checking account, pays any interest. However, its is relatively high for a checking account.

But the APYs are much higher than you can earn on the credit union’s savings accounts.

The Bottom Line
NASA Federal Credit Union, open to anyone, has a fairly broad range of accounts and services, and it may serve some of the needs of basic banking customers, particularly those seeking a large, surcharge-free ATM network (via Allpoint). But those looking for a one-stop shop, the highest APYs or the most extensive line of banking services won’t find those here.
