Do you know which U.S. cities have the greatest favorability among visitors? Raleigh, North Carolina, raced to the top in a survey conducted by YouGov, with a net favorability of +73 among Americans who have been to this city. Colorado Springs and San Antonio tied for second place at +69. However, San Antonio is the only city of the three with a housing market where homes still have reasonable prices.Â
GOBankingRates reviewed the full list of 50 cities provided by YouGov and referenced Zillow for each city’s average home value. We kept all cities with a net favorability of +20 or more and home values under $350,000 to ensure reasonable home prices.Â
Not surprisingly, the metros with favorability and affordable homes is a much shorter list than the original 50 cities — but still fairly robust with 20 cities offering up affordable homes for sale.
