However, as the pricing of a Tesla generally ranges from around $42,990 to $119,990 before upgrades, fees and tax credits, you can assume it was a relatively cheaper model.
- If Musk donated a $43,000 Tesla to all 535 members of Congress the financial total, in a vacuum of sorts, would be just over $23 million.
- Musk’s current estimated net worth is about $340.3 billion, which means this generous gift would not really make a dent in this wealth. It wouldn’t even remove him as the richest person in the world as second place Jeff Bezos has an estimated net worth of $206.5 billion.
- For fun, if Musk happened to give the high-end Tesla models away coming in at $120,000 a piece, the total cost would be $64.2 million, which is still less than what Musk spends on Trump-themed hats in a year.
